Beach
It's just 350 metres to the stunning sandy South Brighton beach that is free from commercial development and ideal for swimming, surfing and long walks along the spit and through the dunes. Surfing and kite boarding are just some of the activites available close by.
Estuary
Surrounded by the South Brighton Reserve the camp backs on to the estuary which is a haven for Herons, Kingfishers, Black Swans, Cormorants and many species of gulls and ducks. There are many walks along the estuary with a view of the beautiful Port Hills and Banks Peninsula.
Public Transport
Just outside the gates a bus will take you into the centre of Christchurch every 30 minutes.

Approximately 3KMs from the Holiday Park is New Brighton which offers a variety of restaurants to suit most tastes including Mexican, Indian, Vegetarian, Chinese and Pizzaria.
